An Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) is a formal document that is produced by one of our qualified electricians following an assessment of the electrical installation within your property. It identifies whether a property is electrically safe or not and must be renewed at least every 5 years.
On July 1st 2020 EICRs became mandatory in the private rented sector for new and renewed tenancies and from 1st April 2021 EICRs have become mandatory for all properties in the private rented sector including all existing tenancies.
